We have a number of vacancies within North Smethwick Development Trust (registered charity number 1035308). All posts are based from the Brasshouse Community Centre in North Smethwick. Centre Cleaner

General cleaning duties including the maintenance of all floors, cleaning and dusting of furniture and fittings in all designated areas including the reception, meeting rooms and main halls, cleaning and disinfecting of toilets and kitchen areas.

The range of cleaning duties includes washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying bins, polishing and dusting of designated areas, fixtures and fittings using where necessary powered equipment.

Hours: 15 hours per week
Location: Brasshouse Community Centre
Salary: In line with the Real Living Wage currently £9.50 per hour

Car Park Steward

This Job Description describes your main duties as a car park steward at the Centro or Brasshouse Community Centre Car Park, North Smethwick or such other North Smethwick Development Trust (NSDT)car park location as may reasonably be required.
Hours: 3.5 hours shift
Reports to: Car Park Manager
Salary: In line with the Real Living Wage currently £9.50 per hour

Caretaker

Open and close the centre for out-of-hours bookings during evenings and weekends, providing assistance as required e.g. moving furniture, and ensuring hire space including toilets are clean and presentable for the next booking.

You will have a flexible approach to work and will vary your working hours based on the needs of the centre and your availability.

Hours: 16 hours weekly
Location: Brasshouse Community Centre
Salary: In line with the Real Living Wage currently £9.50 per hour

Sessional Caretakers

Hours: Not more than 16 hours weekly
