About the Course
This is a six-week course starting
is designed to help participants explore nature through mobile photography while experiencing and appreciating the rich heritage of the canal. Photography is the creative medium, but the core focus is on encouraging people to engage with their local waterways—walking along the canal, discovering its wildlife, understanding its history, and giving back by documenting its beauty through images.
Each session will combine technical photography skills with creative exploration, inspiring participants to see the canal in a new light, whether through reflections in the water, textures of old towpaths, or the wildlife that thrives along its banks. Participants will learn how to effectively use their mobile phone cameras, experiment with composition and lighting, and edit their images to create visually compelling work.
