‘Letters You’ll Never Send’ (A live Theatre Performance)

July 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
£7.50

About the Show

‘Letters You’ll Never Send’ is a unique piece of documentary theatre created entirely from anonymous letters written by people across the UK.

Performed by six professional actors with live music, each performance weaves together stories of love, loss, family, friendship, hope and healing into an unforgettable evening that is both hilarious and heartbreaking.

Every show is different because the letters are real.

Come and discover the extraordinary stories ordinary people never thought anyone would hear.

Suitable for audiences aged 14+ due to mature themes and occasional strong language.

Running time: approximately 60 minutes (no interval).

We’d love our community to be part of the show

One of the things that makes every performance special is that local audiences can contribute anonymous letters which may be included in the performance.

Letters can be joyful, heartbreaking, funny, awkward, hopeful or completely unexpected.

Some ideas include:

  • The apology you never made.
  • The thank you you never said.
  • The conversation you wish you’d had.
  • The secret you’ve carried.
  • The person you’ve lost.
  • Your younger self.
  • Your future self.
  • A first love.
  • A final goodbye.
  • Something you’ve always wanted to say.

All submissions are completely anonymous.

What audiences can expect

This isn’t an interactive show where anyone is put on the spot.

Instead, audiences simply sit back and experience an evening that is funny, emotional, uplifting and incredibly relatable.

People often leave talking to complete strangers because they’ve recognised themselves in someone else’s story.

No two performances are ever the same.
