Our rooms are available to hire 7 days a week and all bookings are supported by our friendly in-house team, who are available to assist you on the day of your event.

We are conveniently located at just 1/2 a mile from M5 Junction 1 and has ample free parking. Our centre is ideal for public transport with the 89 bus stop outside and being less than a 10 minute walk from Rolfe Street, Hawthorns train station and metro line and is in close proximity to Smethwick Galton Bridge. We’re also less than 30 minutes away from Birmingham International Airport.

In-house catering

Our unparalleled full in-house catering service is available upon request. We use only the finest locally sourced ingredients in our delicious food and any profits go back into the local community.

Our very own Brasshouse Hall is perfect to use for a variety of events and occasions.

Due to the flexibility of our rooms we can also provide the option of adding additional capacity of up to 30 guests by combining the space of our very own Hadley Hall, giving ample room for 150 guests.

Upcoming training event or meeting? We’ve got the perfect meeting space for you.

The Community Room benefits from a touch screen and the space lends itself to meetings, training and networking activities for up to 15 guests. 

Cafe and Lobby Area

The home of our delicious food and cooking, our famous Brasshouse Cafe and lobby area is at the centre of our community. Freshly made drinks, breakfasts, lunches and snacks are available in our beautiful café inside Brasshouse Community Centre, in the heart of North Smethwick.

For some events we will open our popup Brasshouse restaurant giving people the opportunity to have refreshments or even a 3 course meal before the event. Our delicious ingredients help to support the local economy and our profits are put back into the work we do in the local community.

So, while you’re enjoying our great food, you know you are part of something special.

*Use of kitchen space can be made available at weekends for a small fee. However use of fridges and freezers are NOT ALLOWED for health and hygiene reasons.

Room hire FAQs

The best thing to do is give us a ring or fill out our online form and we can let you know our availability on the date or dates you’re interested in. 

The Brasshouse Hall can hold a 100 people seated, 120 seated in Brasshouse and Hadley Hall.

Our prices are dependent on the type of hire, one of our friendly team would be happy to discuss your requirements with you. Our private hire does include a Security deposit this is refundable as long as the space is left the same as you found it, and you’ve stuck to our terms and conditions.

Our rooms are conveniently located at just 1/2 a mile from M5 Junction 1 and has ample free parking. We are ideal for public transport and is less than a 10 minute walk from Rolfe Street, Hawthorns train station and metro line and is in close proximity to Smethwick Galton Bridge. We’re also less than 30 minutes away from Birmingham International Airport.

We have ample free parking to the rear of the building, except on WBA Home Match days where a third party use the carpark.

Free Wifi is available throughout the building.

You are not permitted to smoke anywhere on the premises. If you would like to include alcohol at your event, you are able to give this away to your guests.

Our rooms are booked seven days a week, so it is likely that we will not be able to store items outside of the hire time. Unless prior agreement.

You will have access to the oven and cooker hobs, microwaves and sinks. We do not have fridges available to use.

Cancellation 21 days before the start of the hire = no charge.

Cancellation 14 days before the start of the hire = 50% of total costs.

Cancellation 7 days before the start of the hire = 100% of total costs.

Most people who use our space pick one area to hire, although we are here to make things work for you, so if you would like to hire more than one space, we’ll see what we can do. Whichever space you hire, you will need to stick to that space as there may be other people using other parts of the building.

Your booking times should include your time to set-up and set down.

Yes you can, all current legislations (two metre gaps and sides) should be adhered to. You must take into account the reduction in room capacity when having soft play/DJ equipment inside the hired space.

Only fully contained ones, away from building because of smoke alarms, and you must take ashes away. Not to be left on site.
