FREE Art Workshops at Brasshouse Community Centre
Brasshouse Community Centre is teaming up with Canals & Rivers Trust to offer a series of free, friendly and relaxed art workshops inspired by the beautiful Smethwick Canals.
🗓 Session 1 Tuesday 13th and Friday 16th January and session 2 Tuesday 27th 13th and Friday 30th January
📍 Location: Brasshouse Community Centre, Brasshouse Lane,Smethwick,B66 1BA
🕰 Time: Tuesdays 1.30pm-3.30pm & Fridays 10am-12pm
🎟 Cost: FREE
🖌 Experience: No experience needed – everyone welcome!

✨ What to expect:
Session 1
• Learn about traditional canal art
• Discover the history of roses & castles
• Learn how to paint canal roses step by step
Session 2
• Decorate an object using canal art designs
• Choose one of our provided items (such as pebbles or wooden coasters) or bring an object from home to decorate
• We’ll use high-quality acrylic paints, which work on most surfaces and are safe to use
🎨 All materials provided
👩🎨 Examples of decorated objects will be shown for inspiration
