SUMMARY:Let's Learn Photography
DESCRIPTION:About the Course \nThis is a six-week course starting \nis designed to help participants explore nature through mobile photography while experiencing and appreciating the rich heritage of the canal. Photography is the creative medium\, but the core focus is on encouraging people to engage with their local waterways—walking along the canal\, discovering its wildlife\, understanding its history\, and giving back by documenting its beauty through images. \nEach session will combine technical photography skills with creative exploration\, inspiring participants to see the canal in a new light\, whether through reflections in the water\, textures of old towpaths\, or the wildlife that thrives along its banks. Participants will learn how to effectively use their mobile phone cameras\, experiment with composition and lighting\, and edit their images to create visually compelling work. \nWeek 1: Getting Started with Mobile Photography & Exploring the Canal \nWeek 2: Composition and Framing Along the Canal \nWeek 3: Understanding Light and Shadows on the Water \nWeek 4: Capturing Details – Macro and Close-up Photography in Nature \nWeek 5: Editing and Enhancing Your Canal & Nature Photos \nWeek 6: Creative Storytelling Along the Canal & Final Showcase \nBook now \nThe course is free and the participants are required to attend all six weeks . Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before session. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways . \nIf you can no longer attend\, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part.
