SUMMARY:'Letters You'll Never Send' (A live Theatre Performance)
DESCRIPTION:About the Show \n‘Letters You’ll Never Send’ is a unique piece of documentary theatre created entirely from anonymous letters written by people across the UK. \nPerformed by six professional actors with live music\, each performance weaves together stories of love\, loss\, family\, friendship\, hope and healing into an unforgettable evening that is both hilarious and heartbreaking. \nEvery show is different because the letters are real. \nCome and discover the extraordinary stories ordinary people never thought anyone would hear. \nSuitable for audiences aged 14+ due to mature themes and occasional strong language. \nRunning time: approximately 60 minutes (no interval). \nWe’d love our community to be part of the show \nOne of the things that makes every performance special is that local audiences can contribute anonymous letters which may be included in the performance. \nLetters can be joyful\, heartbreaking\, funny\, awkward\, hopeful or completely unexpected. \nSome ideas include: \n\nThe apology you never made.\nThe thank you you never said.\nThe conversation you wish you’d had.\nThe secret you’ve carried.\nThe person you’ve lost.\nYour younger self.\nYour future self.\nA first love.\nA final goodbye.\nSomething you’ve always wanted to say.\n\nAll submissions are completely anonymous. \nPeople can submit their letters here: https://forms.gle/k3aUeEdvcYVHfMy48 \nOr visit: www.lettersyoullneversend.com \nfor inspiration and more information about the project. Go to Instagram: @lettersyoullneversend \nWhat audiences can expect \nThis isn’t an interactive show where anyone is put on the spot. \nInstead\, audiences simply sit back and experience an evening that is funny\, emotional\, uplifting and incredibly relatable. \nPeople often leave talking to complete strangers because they’ve recognised themselves in someone else’s story. \nNo two performances are ever the same. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Smethwick Imaginarium - Reflections On Water
DESCRIPTION:With Cathy Wade and Anneka French.\n\n\n\nJoin Cathy Wade and Anneka French for a reflective session on artistic practice and the creative potential of the waterways in and around Smethwick. We’ll be looking back at learning from across the week and thinking about the future of the waterways. \nSmethwick Imaginarium is a place-based arts programme celebrating the cultural diversity\, canal heritage and community spirit of Smethwick. Six artists working across photography\, performance\, poetry\, graphic design\, sculpture and curation are collaborating with local residents and community organisations to co-create work that explores the role of the Galton Valley Canal in our community. The programme launched in February 2026 with free creative workshops at Smethwick Library and canal activities in partnership with Brasshouse Community Centre. Throughout summer and autumn\, artists will share their work at public moments along the canal and in local venues\, culminating in a celebratory festival.
